The people are welcoming and really do care about the success of others and their wellbeing. I would suggest anyone to look at speaking with Empiric if they feel they would like to work in a mature yet fun environment.
In terms of my journey at Empiric, it started almost a year ago when I was interviewed by several members and found Sam (the CEO) to be very inspiring and easy to talk to!
I joined the company during the first lockdown, which was very challenging in the beginning. Most significantly, I was still very new to the business and working remotely isn’t always the best way of getting to know team members. I also found it hard to build a Tech Sales division from scratch during such a difficult time.
But I never felt alone! I was regularly contacted by my manager during the pandemic and also by Sam. I have never worked with a CEO before that genuinely cares so much about their staff, I would receive regular calls from Sam just to see if I was doing okay.
I think realising that nothing comes easy, you have to work hard for it and realise that it takes time. Building a new market isn’t something that can happen overnight, so my biggest learning curve during this journey was understanding this and still realising that I am in the process of building something great.
Now, the next big step would be to have more people in the Tech Sales team and grow a successful division.
